Our Investors
We are a group of 18 Associates from diverse business backgrounds, each with 20 to 40 years of business experience. All of us have held senior management positions in recognized corporations, or have built successful enterprises.
We have a depth of experience in manufacturing and distribution; advertising, marketing and sales; finance and operations management.
The experience of these business specialists is available, free of charge, to all Pyx clients.

Cassandra C.
Cassandra has been with Pyx for over 11 years and purchased the company in 2007. She has held senior management positions in hospitality management; sales and marketing; and business operations both in Australia and Canada. Cassandra works closely with our clients providing a magnitude of business advice acting mainly like a partner or a business coach. She has worked with clients taking them from 1.5 million/year to over 8 million/year; assisted in turnaround situations; and provided advice in several other critical small to medium size business challenges.
Bari C.
Bari has over 35 years of business experience as owner or senior partner in various business from furniture manufacturing to post production television and has taken two computer companies public.
John C.
John has been a VP with a global real estate services firm since 1991, prior to which he had 25 years of experience in marketing, management, business ownership and investment. This included partnership in a private real estate investment firm and 8 years managing overall operations in Western Canada for a national business equipment company. He is the President of an investment company, which he formed in 1993.
Dennis E.
Dennis is a marketing guru with 16 years as division sales and marketing manager with a large BC food manufacturer and 6 years as a product manager with Western Canada’s largest multi-product food manufacturer. He spent 3 years in franchise sales and marketing with one of Canada’s largest fast food companies and 2 years as a group underwriter and product developer with a Manitoba based insurance company. He is a graduate in Business Administration from the University of North Dakota. He was also a professional musician for 8 years.
Ed T.
Ed is an electrical engineer with an MBA. Before starting his own engineering company, he had a long career with an electrical engineering/contracting/data communications company where he was responsible at various times for marketing, production, engineering and corporate development.
George S.
George is the principal of a rental company supplying the film industry in B.C. as well as the president of a commercial real estate investment concern. Previously, he owned a national sporting goods distributor which serviced retail dealers across Canada. He has extensive financing, importing, marketing and product development experience. He has also enjoyed careers as an auctioneer/appraiser, liquidator, rug merchant and cowboy.
Harold C.
Harold has been a Pyx associate for 12 years. As a senior operations executive, with international exposure, he has extensive experience in the food, wine, confectionary and consumer products industry. Harold has directed large multi plant manufacturing and warehousing/distribution operations including production, planning, costing, purchasing, quality, human and industrial relations and financial reporting.
Joe T.
Joe is a sales and marketing specialist. He loves to help small businesses grow and thrives being on the sales frontline. He is known for creating and executing winning sales plans. Joe has been an entrepreneur for most of his thirty years in business which includes the successful building and sale of two software companies.
Max F.
Max is the owner of a company specializing in real estate financing and A/R management. Max is a Chartered Accountant by profession. He was previously the chief financial officer for a large B.C. community college, and in an earlier life, served a term as senior vice-president of the Vancouver Stock Exchange.
Mike S.
Mike was the founder of the largest Furniture Rental Company in Western Canada in 1973. He controlled the company until 1979, and sold the company in 2002. Mike founded Junec Leasing Company in 1976 and the company is still active today. He is recently referred to as RETIRED but not RETIRING.
Paul T.
Paul is the owner of a management consulting company with offices and associates in Canada, United Kingdom, and Vietnam. After post graduate training in the retail industry, he spent seventeen years in sales and marketing management with two major international computer companies. In recent years, Paul has accumulated a great deal of experience and a significant record of achievement in setting up, structuring, construction and running of health care facilities and the manufacturing and distribution of health care products and services.
Weldon C.
Weldon is the principal of an A/R management and lease brokering company. Previously Weldon was a partner and general manager of a nation-wide leasing company specializing in the North American waste handling industry, and earlier still, he was merchandising manager for a large well-known national consumer battery manufacturer. Weldon has been very active in the community in various roles including acting as a director of the Chamber of Commerce.
